Every night as you begin to go to sleep you enter a state of consciousness that is the same as that which occurs during hypnosis. The same thing happens when you are driving your car, or meditating, or even just day-dreaming. When you are in this state of mind, you are still conscious and awake, but your subconscious is easily accessible and that is perfect for creating change. (Have you ever remembered something by thinking of something else? That's your subconscious at work.) Why? Because the subconscious is where we find our long term memory, our body memories, our emotional history and programing as well as our creativity and our beliefs. These are the main elements with which we need to work to bring positive and effective change into our lives.
Hypnotherapy is a professional practice which enables the client (you) and the therapist to work together with the subconscious to effectively, safely and rapidly create change.
